What Envoy does.
A property operator often cannot say for sure what is happening across every property right now. Monitoring might be on one system and not another, in a few properties and not the rest, or nowhere at all. And when it is in place, there’s rarely a way to know whether it’s still running.
Envoy does four jobs. The first is getting every property covered. Where monitoring already exists, Envoy connects to it, confirms it is still reporting, and fills the gaps. Where it does not, Envoy supplies it.
From there, Envoy shows the condition of every property in one place, coordinates the response when an alert fires, and builds the record insurers, owners, and lenders ask for.
It runs on top of the systems you already use. Nothing gets ripped out unless you want it gone.
What Envoy verifies
Infrastructure trust.
Where monitoring does exist, it breaks quietly. Sensors die, batteries drain, cellular gateways drop, and integrations stop reporting. The dashboard keeps showing the last reading it got, because nothing in the system is responsible for checking whether new readings are still coming in. You find out through the incident the monitoring should have caught.
Envoy checks the monitoring you already have, continuously. A device that stops reporting gets flagged rather than sitting there looking fine. Connectivity drops get caught and tracked. Integrations that stop sending get flagged. Where coverage is thin, Envoy fills it in. Where a property has nothing watching for a particular problem, Envoy supplies it.
The result is a current picture of what is reporting and what is not, whether Envoy is verifying monitoring that was already there, expanding partial coverage, or starting from nothing.
When a monitor stops reporting, Envoy notifies the person you assign and records what happened.
What Envoy coordinates
Operational coordination.
Alerts come in faster than anyone can handle them. They arrive from different systems, in different formats, with different escalation paths, and often with no shared understanding of who should act on what.
People start tuning them out. Real alerts get missed. Two people chase the same problem. And the monitoring stops being something anyone trusts.
Envoy coordinates the whole alert lifecycle. Alerts get routed, someone gets assigned, the response gets tracked, and the resolution gets documented. Envoy connects to the systems where alerts start and to the systems where the work actually gets done.
Every alert has an owner, every response leaves a record, and both you and your partner see the same one.
What Envoy shows
Portfolio visibility.
If you run a multi-property portfolio, seeing the whole thing at once is harder than it should be. Every property has its own systems. Every system has its own dashboard. There are tools that pull it all together, but they show you readings from each system instead of telling you how each property is actually doing.
Answering a simple question like “which properties are fine right now, and which ones have a problem” turns into real work.
Envoy puts that answer in one view. You see verified monitoring, open alerts, responses in progress, and where each property stands. Leadership gets the whole picture without piecing it together from four different places.
Property-level detail is one click from the portfolio summary. You are looking at the condition of each property rather than the readings behind it.
What Envoy documents
Operational accountability.
Insurers, lenders, and ownership groups are starting to ask for proof that your operation actually works. Underwriting questions cover what you monitor, how you respond, and what you can document. Refinancing diligence asks for operational records. Insurance renewals come with questions about operational discipline.
The answer is hard to produce cleanly, because the proof is scattered across systems that were never built to produce it.
Envoy builds that record as you go. Verified monitoring, coordinated alerts, response timelines, and how each issue was resolved all get documented while the work happens.
You can export the record, and it is organized for the people asking. It comes out of running the operation rather than being a separate reporting project. Envoy does not certify that conditions met a standard; it shows what the conditions were and what happened after an alert.
